I spent the remainder of June 2026 in the Klang Valley. Played tourist guide when I met up with FF and revisited Masjid Jamek and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
The following week, I joined FF and sister and families to Templer Park Rainforest Retreat. The owner gave us an early check-in and in the afternoon, we hiked up Kanching Waterfalls. It was a good thing we went that afternoon itself instead of the following morning as the skies opened up that evening until midnight. The trail would have been wet, slippery and muddy.
I visited Galeri Petronas on the last Saturday after years since my last visit. I much prefer museums to art galleries but I do try to visit when there’s an opportunity to do so.
And on the last day of June, I tried out the new Shah Alam LRT line and took the opportunity to visit Klang Chinese Muslim Jamek Mosque.
